The Hamilton Broncs will start their Class A season hosting the Whitefish Bulldogs at Haynes Field Friday night, August 24. The kick-off will be at 7 p.m. and KLYQ 1240 AM will be bringing you the play-by-play tonight on the radio, online at klyq.com and on your cellphone with the KLYQ app. The Broncs will play at Columbia Falls next Friday, August 31, at 7 p.m. September 7th, the Broncs will travel to Browning, they're back home September 14 against Polson, and they host Stevensville September 21. September 28, the Corvallis Blue Devils will host the Broncs. Butte Central comes to town October 5 and Hamilton will be at Frenchtown October 12. Their final regular season game will be at home against Dillon October 19, with state playoffs starting the next week.

Of course, fall is crowded with other high school sports. Hamilton's golf team has been busy since August 13 and were most recently in Frenchtown this week. Friday and Saturday, August 24-25, the Bronc Volleyball team will be at the Browning Tip-off tournament. Boys and Girls Soccer teams will be in Belgrade Friday and in Livingston Saturday for matches.

KLYQ will again be carrying the University of Montana Grizzly football games this year, including the weekly Coaches Show Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. (starting August 29). The first Grizzly football game against Northern Iowa will be Saturday, September 1, with pre-game from our sister station, KGVO, at 5 p.m. The weekly Sportstalk programs are coming back on Tuesdays at 6 p.m., starting September 4.
