Hamilton Christian Academy Raises Enough Money
The Hamilton Christian Academy raised $170,000 in time for the official closing of the deal to buy the Grantsdale School.
The deal should be finalized Thursday with the Hamilton School District, which closed the school at the end of the last school year.
The Christian Academy is planning an impromptu celebration potluck Thursday evening, March 27, at 6 p.m. at the Grantsdale School, 778 Grantsdale Road, south of Hamilton.
Officials said the Hamilton Christian Academy will continue to have classes in their present location, but will open the Grantsdale facility in the fall.
Not included in the deal is the bell tower and the original Grantsdale School bell, which is in storage and will be moved to the Ravalli County Museum lawn later this year.
