Hamilton City Council Delays Meeting Because of Holiday
The Independence Day holiday falls on a Tuesday this year, the regular meeting night for Hamilton's City Council. So, they moved it.
The council will meeting July 5th, Wednesday, and the major issue will be adoption of the preliminary budget for the town. The council will also take public comment on any portion of the planned budget. It will be finalized later this year.
The council will also discuss a Department of Commerce Community Development block grant that would allow expansion of the Head Start facility on Kurtz Lane.
A proposal to use the Treasure State Endowment Program to study possible sewer service to the Daly Avenue area is on the agenda. The money would pay for a preliminary engineering report.
The meeting Wednesday will start at 7 p.m.
