Hamilton City Council Proposes Budget
Hamilton’s City Council is ready to hear the public’s opinion on its preliminary budget for 2013.
The council will have a public hearing at the its regular meeting Tuesday, July 3. The preliminary budget will be discussed later in the meeting as Resolution 1201.
The council is also will discuss a contract with Nelson Tree Service to remove and dispose of dead trees throughout the town. The proposed contract is $23,730.
There have been enough changes in various zoning areas that the council is looking at adopting an updated Official Zoning Map.
And, in the area of social media, Hamilton may enter the Facebook world with a City of Hamilton page.
The council meeting will be in the council chambers on the second floor of City Hall, starting at 7pm Tuesday.
