This weekend, if you have some old broken-down furniture or an old lawn mower that refuses to start no matter how many times you pull the cord, get rid of it!

The City of Hamilton is having another City Wide Junk Cleanup Friday and Saturday only. It is open to Hamilton city residents ONLY.

Get your old furniture, small household appliances, computers, washers, dryers, "freon free" refrigerators and freezer, any metals including lawn equipment or posts and haul them over to the City Parking lot on North 4th Street, across Pinckney Street from the US Post Office.

You'll see the large Bitter Root Disposal bins at the north end of the lot.

You will need some proof that you are a Hamilton city resident or a city business owner. The could be a sewer bill, property tax record or rental agreement.

Bring your junk to the lot between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday June 10 and Saturday June 11.

This cooperative project between the city and Bitter Root Disposal is part of Hamilton's beautification program.
