The annual "Fall Clean-up Days" are November 14 through November 16 in Hamilton.

Again this year, the city crews will providing free "curbside service" in picking up bagged leaves and bundled branches inside the city limits.

The bagged leaves and organic yard material should be left by the side of the street and the small branches (less than 4 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter) should be bundled together.

No garbage, just yard material.

If the material is not in compliance, a red tag will be left and the homeowner can fix the problem and then call the Public Works Department to let them know.

The schedule is the same as in past years:

  • Monday, Nov. 14 - North of Main Street.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 15 - South of Main Street
  • Wednesday, Nov. 16 - East of Highway 93 to the City Limits.
  • If you have questions, such as "am I in the city limits?" call the Public Works Department at 363-6717. It seems that there's always some confusion on the east side of Hamilton of which streets are in the city limits.
