Hamilton Downtown Association Gets ‘Crabby’
Join other pirates and landlubbers Saturday, April 5, for the annual Community Crab Feed in Hamilton at City Hall on South 2nd Street.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a no- host bar, then the crab dinners will be served up – buffet style – at 6:30 p.m., along with salad, baked potato and dessert.
There is a pirate theme to the evening, and a costume contest will be held, though you are by no means required to dress nautically. Just come and enjoy the crab dinner and support the Hamilton Downtown Association. And if you just want to talk like a pirate, go ahead!
The $30 admission is the main fundraiser for the group of businesses that put on Hamilton events such as Daly Days, the Kids Halloween Parade, and the Christmas decorations and tree lighting.
There is a great raffle for what is being called the Bitter Root Valley Entertainment Package – with tickets for such things as movies, the Hamilton Playhouse productions and even the Ravalli County Fair. That collection of tickets will be raffled as the main prize at the dinner.
Silent auction items will also be featured.
Advance tickets are being sold at Chapter One Book Store and the Paper Clip in downtown Hamilton.
