Opportunity Resources of Missoula came to Hamilton Saturday, June 4, to collect old electronics in a one-day event, in partnership with Hamilton High School, which got rid of its old cathode ray monitors. The recycling site was in the HHS parking lot.

With the changing electronics environment, quite a few people had old useless VCRs, printers and more that they brought in. Opportunity E-Cycling officials said the traffic was steady and with heavy equipment provided free by other Hamilton companies the operation ran smoothly and they reported success.

Opportunity Resources provides jobs for adults with disabilities. The old electronics will be taken apart and salvageable components will be reused by the industry.
