Hamilton Eagles Hide The Eggs Again!
Ya gotta have an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday!
That's the rule of the Eagles Lodge in Hamilton, who have been commandeering sections of the Ravalli County Fairgrounds every year in recent history and having a commmunity Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.
During much of Sunday morning, members of the Eagles Aerie scatter the eggs along fence posts, by trees, in the tall grass and heck - just out in the open under that big Montana sky.
The hunt is set up so the little kids don't have to compete with the bigger kids and the top age is 12 years. They sound the air horn and the kids are off and runnin'. It seems only minutes later when the hunt is over.
Again this year, the Easter Egg Hunt is free and will start at 1pm on Sunday, April 8.
KLYQ sends its congratulations to the Bitter Root Fraternal Order of Eagles for staging a successful community Easter Egg Hunt year after year! Happy Easter!
