The kids and parents were barely patient as three separate Easter egg hunts were lined up in different portions of the Ravalli County Fairgrounds.

And, in a method perfected over the years, the local Hamilton Eagles Lodge started all the races for the eggs at the same time - with a blast from an air horn.

The day's egg discoveries ranged from close examination of each treasure from the littlest hunters to a two-minute dash for the eggs spotted by the older kids, accompanied by shouts of "Over here!" and "There's one!"

Lots of sunglasses and smiles at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds Easter Sunday.
