The City of Hamilton has scheduled "Fall Clean-up Days" for November 18-20 this year.

In the last week or so, most of the leaves in town have dropped, providing kids with piles for jumping. But, those leaves can go away when left along the curbs inside the Hamilton city limits. City crews will pick up the bagged leaves and bundled branches.

The schedule for this fall:

  • Monday November 18 - All streets northwest of Main to US 93
  • Tuesday November 19 - All streets southwest of Main to US 93.
  • Wednesday November 20 - All streets east of US 93 to the city limits
  • The things that can be picked up are: Organic yard material, leaves must be bagged (see photo), small branches should be bundled and tied, not exceed 4 feet in length or branches that are larger than 4 inches in diameter.

No rocks, no dirt, no trash.

Red tags will be placed on items that are not in compliance with the rules. When you've fixed the problem call the Public Works Department and they'll come pick up the material.

This service is for Hamilton city residents only. The Public Works Department number is 363-6717.

And another reminder - no burning inside the city limits. So, bag those leaves!
