In its 23rd year, the Hamilton Farmers Market opens Saturday May 3.

Rod Daniel said that at least 50 vendors will opening booths on the initial day at 9 a.m. He said that some produce may even be ready for sale, with indoor operations producing some results in what has been a cold spring.

The usual Montana-made, Bitterroot-based operations will be setting up around the Ravalli County Museum on Bedford Avenue and South 2nd and 3rd Streets. And, as always, baked goods and hot coffee will be sold to get your weekend off on the right foot.

The Hamilton Farmers Market operates every Saturday from now until Apple Day in October from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
