The Hamilton High School girls soccer team survived an overtime shootout to advance in the State Class A soccer playoffs Saturday afternoon.

The Broncs were tied with Belgrade at the end of regulation play, at the end of the first overtime, and at the end of the second overtime. The shootout determined the winner and Hamilton came out on top 2 to 1. The girls squad will go on the road next weekend for a state semifinal against Laurel.

Meanwhile, the Corvallis boys defeated visiting Livingston in quarterfinal action. The score was 3 to 0 at the end of regulation play. Corvallis is the defending state champion and will move on to semi-final action against Billings Central next Saturday. The Billings Central team defeated Polson Saturday 3 to 1.
