Hamilton High Has Science Standouts

The Hamilton High School Science Olympiad team placed 6th in the crowded 42-team competition.
The official State Science Olympiad Scores were finally announced and the team members were recognized by the state judges.
Here are the results for the Hamilton students, reported by Michelle McConnaha:

  • Sam Kern and Marie Feldman – Bronze medalists in the Epidemiology event
  • Collin Johns and Gina Schmit – Bronze Medalist in Optics
  • Sam Couch and Sam Parker – 9th in Astronomy
  • Natalie Bremmer and Steph Holton – 6th Forensics,
  • Tess and Nial Gallagher Clancy – 5th Forestry
  • Sam Kern and Sam Parker 5th Gravity Vehicle
  • Nial Gallagher Clancy and Marie Feldman – 4th Microbiology
  • Natalie Bremmer and Kyle Lubke – 7th Thermodynamics
  • Whitney Cleveland and Gina Schmit – 8th in Tower Engineering.
    Other students that contributed towards the overall team score were: Julian Kimball, Erica Huppert and Kelsey Pitzinger.
    The team is coached by Marie Antonioli and Tom Schmit.
