Hamilton High Hosts State Football Playoff Saturday
The Hamilton High School Broncs will host Polson in State Class A Playoff football Saturday afternoon.
The Broncs defeated Stevensville in the last regular season game Friday night and advanced to the Montana playoff series. The game will be at 1 p.m. at Haynes Field on South 9th Street in Hamilton.
Hamilton is the number two team out of the Southwestern division and Polson is the number three team from the Northwest conference.
The game is a Montana High School Association event and Hamilton and Polson season tickets will NOT be honored. Much like the state soccer playoffs, the admission price for adults is $7 and for students $6.
The Hamilton Booster Club is firing up the grill with a tailgate party starting at 11:30 with a cost of $6 per meal.
The winner of the Hamilton-Polson game will go up against Billings Central, which earned a bye for the first playoff weekend. The other Southwest conference teams in the playoffs are first place finisher Dillon, which also earned a bye this next weekend, and third place Butte Central, who plays at Whitefish this Saturday.
The live play-by-play will be aired on KLYQ 1240 AM, Hamilton, and online at klyq.com.
