After school Wednesday, members of the Hamilton High School band, under the direction of Shawn Thacker, bundled up and met at Steve Boshae's Christmas Tree lot to play a set of Christmas Carols.

Why Steve's lot? Well, for the past bunch of years, the lot has donated a dollar from every tree purchased to the Hamilton High music department. Thacker gets the band over at least once during the Christmas season to play music as a "thank you" to Steve and the Boshae family for their generosity.

And the weather was cooperative this year. A stiff breeze, but blue sky and a 50-degree temperature. We talked to Thacker and and Boshae.

The tree lot is in the Albertson's parking lot in Hamilton.
