Hamilton High School Gets Ready for Fall Sports
Hamilton High School will have an important meeting for parents and athletes involved in autumn sports.
The August 6th meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center for those who plan to play soccer, volleyball, football, golf, cross country or cheerleading.
The meeting will be run the same as past sports meetings – a general assembly where Activities Director Darrell Holland will talk about participation requirements, training rules, and other information for parents and teens.
Then, the coaches of each sport will talk about their individual rules and practice schedules.
By the way, the students all need sports physicals before they can even practice. Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital is again offering those physicals August 7th at the Marcus Daly Rehabilitation Center from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per student and the money is donated back to the athletes’ schools. Sign-up forms are available at the Marcus Daly Hospital site and must be signed by the parent. The parent also must be at the physical Wednesday.
