Another award ceremony this past week for Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.

Thursday afternoon, a Hospital Quality Award was officially accepted in a ceremony at the hospital. Hospital board vice-chair Lois Hedg-Path said the honor was one of only seven awarded in the state by the Mountain-Pacific Quality Health, the Medicare Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization for Montana.

The Hospital met a number of factors to be considered, including three main programs: anti-microbial stewardship, opiod post-surgical monitoring and transitional care from in-patient to home care.

Representatives of the various departments of the hospital were at the ceremony (see photo below).
