It's fitting that during American Heart Health Month that Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital would have a class on how to improve your heart health.

The 5:30 p.m. one-hour session will be Thursday, February 11, at the Blodgett and Canyon View conference rooms, just inside the main entrance of the hospital.

The free class with Dr. Anthony Navone, MD, will touch on prevention and treatments of heart disease. Dr. Navone is the head of the new Marcus Daly Cardiology Services. He also will talk about the differences between men and women when they have a heart attack.

If you come early, free blood pressure checks are being provided by the hospital. Check out their website for information on this and other topics.

The class is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Hamilton.
