There's no shortage of live music Friday evening, July 8, in Hamilton.

The Hamilton Tonight crew of the Hamilton Downtown Association has the first of three free outdoor concerts on Main Street, featuring "Joan Zen." The second block of Main Street will be blocked off and they'll be playing from about 5 p.m. until about 8 p.m. Many area stores and businesses will be open late with special sales. Downtown, adult beverages will be available for sale.

At 7 p.m., the popular "Who Dat" band will kick off their free outdoor concert as part of the Sapphire Lutheran Homes Summer Concert Season. A $5 barbeque will start the evening on North 10th Street at 6 p.m. The concert itself is free.

The Eagles Lodge on North 2nd Street in downtown Hamilton will have live country music at their monthly charity dance starting at 7:30 p.m. There's a $7 admission charge.

Get out of the house and enjoy some great music!
