The Hamilton Lady Broncs proved they were outstanding in the classroom as well as on the field last year.

The National Soccer Coaches Association has awarded the team the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 school year. According to a press release from Activities Director Darrell Holland, the award is given to high school teams who achieve on the field and in the classroom.

The Lady Broncs held an overall GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Holland said this is the 6th consecutive year that the Hamilton Lady Broncs soccer team has received the award. This year, the Hamilton team was the only one honored from Montana.
