The Hamilton Lady Broncs played three of the toughest games in the State Class A Girls Basketball Tournament. They won two and lost one.

The Havre Blue Ponies defeated the Lady Broncs 52 to 43 in the Championship game Saturday evening in Great Falls. The Hamilton team took home the Second Place trophy.

The Lady Broncs fought a scrappy Miles City team in their first game Thursday and won by four points 46 to 42. Then, the Broncs surprised the Columbia Falls Wildcats with a 44 to 39 dominating game Friday. That sent them to the Championship game against Havre, who had dealt defeats to Frenchtown 60 to 41 and Laurel 43 to 28. By the way, Columbia Falls won third place by defeating Laurel 54 to 52 in overtime in the consolation game Saturday.
