Seven short presentations will open up the first ever "Conversations on Community" Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center. And there's no admission charge!

Steve Fullerton of KLYQ 1240 AM Radio will be the master of ceremonies for evening, which is based on the popular TED format of public talks.

Though it is not an official TED event, the evening will limit each presenter to 10 minutes or so to bring out some information about what their areas contribute to the community of Hamilton and the Bitterroot Valley.

There will be video, photos and other interesting ways to present the information in what should be a positive manner during the short presentations.

Included in this first evening of talks will be Mara Luther, Marshall Bloom, Roch Turner, Joson Cohen, Eric Larson, Claire Kemp, Olivia Via and Abbie Horlocher.

Following the talks will be a reception with food and drink. Child care is also available.

The Conversations on Community is intended to become an ongoing dialogue within the population - sharing ideas and exloring ways to enrich the community.

And did I mention? It's free.
