You'd have to crazy ... or maybe "abnormal" (see photo) to miss the chance to be in "Young Frankenstein-The Musical," which will be the next play at the Hamilton Playhouse.

Auditions for the Mel Brooks adaption of his film will be Monday and Tuesday, August 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Playhouse, 100 Ricketts Road, Hamilton.

Director Faylee Favara said that there are roles for over 7 men (character ages 20-65) and over 3 women (character ages 20-65), along with fun chorus roles, who will also play villagers, med students, mad scientists and monsters.

The show follows the film plot, but adds some dancing and great songs with adult content. Favara says it is not recommended for children.

Rehearsals will start next week, a day after the auditions. The show will open October 17 and run for three weekends, including Halloween.
