A great rendition of a classic horror story is always welcomed this time of year.

The Hamilton Players have a "readers theater" planned for Monday, October 30, at the Hamilton Playhouse. Actors and others will be on stage and read some great Halloween-type stories from authors like Edgar Allen Poe.

Executive Director denise rose also said an original adaptation of the classic "The Monkey's Paw" will highlight the "Grave Readings" show.

There is no admission charge, but they do have a bake sale in the lobby, where you can buy some goodies and support the local theater group.

Doors open at 6 p.m., seating starts at 6:30 p.m. and the first tale is told at 7 p.m. Monday, October 30.
