Five people are running for two 3-year positions on the Hamilton District 3 School Board.

A forum has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 18, at Hamilton's Mineshaft Pasty Company on the first block of North 2nd Street.

The two-hour forum will start at 6 p.m. with opening statements and a few prepared questions from the organizers of the event. There will be time for questions from the audience.

Seeking re-election are board members Elke Olbricht and Jim Shea. Tim Greek, Jeni Seifert and Jesse Casterson are also running for those seats.

Steve Fullerton of KLYQ will be moderator.

The election will be by mail ballots, which should be received by district voters this week. The ballots must be returned by May 2nd to be included in the election count.

The Hamilton school district has one more election in May. A bond and levy election will be included on the Special Congressional Election ballot May 25. Those two issues will only be on ballots issued in the School District 3 precincts.
