Hamilton School Board to Discuss the Grantsdale and Daly Schools Monday
The Hamilton School Board will meet across the street from their regular board room Monday, February 11.
On the agenda, a topic that has come up a few times before, the possible closure of Grantsdale Elementary School. Superintendent Tom Korst brought up the subject a month ago, and talked about consolidating the classes in Grantsdale with classes at Daly Elementary School.
Also, there will be a report on school district enrollment numbers and how that will affect the budget in state funding.
Discussion will also center on problems with the Hamilton High School gym floor re-finishing and solutions to the issue.
Preceding the board meeting, the Curriculum Committee will meet at 5 p.m. to discuss health and PE classes with teachers. That meeting will be in the District office board room on Daly Avenue.
