Tuesday, Hamilton School District Voters will cast ballots on a levy election and elect two trustees to the school board.

All voting will be done at the Hamilton High School gym and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On the ballot is a $485,000 general fund levy. The money would be for continued operating costs and funding of some educational programs, along with assistance on some fees being charged at the school.

Two seats on the school board are up for election. Running for two positions are three candidates - Elke Olbricht and current board members Jim Shea and Lee Tickell.

After the counting Tuesday night, KLYQ Radio will have election results on the air at 1240 AM, online at klyq.com and our Facebook page (klyqam) and we'll send out a Tweet, too.

We'll also attempt to get results on the other school elections in Florence, Darby and Lone Rock. Lone Rock voters are also being asked to approve a levy.
