The Hamilton Players are quite accustomed to taking on big projects...and succeeding.
The community theater group is currently in rehearsals for "Thoroughly Modern Millie," a fun musical planned for the end of February.
But, they're planning ahead, too. The new, expanded season has been announced. Eight "main stage" plays are on the agenda through the end of 2013. The long season will allow the group to change the start date for their yearly seasons to follow the calendar, with the first show of each season following the new year, starting in 2014.
So, the longer season ticket will be good through the end of next year. On the schedule are "The Sound of Music" and "Walley's Cafe" this summer, "The Diary of Anne Frank" in October, and next year, "Sweeney Todd" in February, "Anything Goes" and "Nunsense" in the summer of 2013, and a play yet to be determined in the fall of 2013.
Season tickets will go on sale in April at the Hamilton Players box office and at the Hamilton Players website.
