The Hamilton Downtown Association is "bullish" on the Hamilton Tonight events this summer. And to prove it, they have an actual bull on Main Street Friday night, June 10.

The bull (courtesy of Cal Ruark and Darby rodeo group) will be in a portable corral at the corner of 2nd Street and Main during the late opening "second Friday" event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Part of Hamilton's Main Street will be blocked off to allow a good gathering of organizations who are responsible for many of the adult and kids' activities in the Bitterroot Valley.

Hannah Honey of the Downtown Association said organizations such as Bitterroot Backcountry Cyclists, Bitterroot Water Forum, B.E.A.R. Co-op and Bitterroot Land Trust have been invited. Chapter One Book Store will have an outdoor-themed story time for the kids at 6 p.m.

Two blocks north of Main, the Mill at 140 Cherry Street will have activities including music and door prizes.

Next month, "Hamilton Tonight" will feature a free live music concert on the second Friday of July - July 8th.
