The annual July 4th fireworks display at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds is happening again this year.

The City of Hamilton has been setting up a bank account each year to collect donations for each display. The donations have run hot and cold each yea,r and it looks like the city will not get as much funding from the public as they'd hope.

However, the city budget allowed the purchase of the display bombs and the show will go on.

It starts at dusk Thursday night and is free to the public. There is plenty of parking around the fairgrounds, but drive carefully due to all the pedestrians on Fairgrounds Road.

Happy 4th of July!
