The Hamilton Downtown Association has been busy, getting the town ready for the holidays.

Already, a trip through town at night greets you with bright snowflakes around the streetlights. The picture changes every evening, as more merchants decorate their windows and get in the festive mood of the year.

Volunteers have pretty much finished the preparation of the community Christmas Tree on the 300 block of Main. The lights will be come on at 6 p.m. Friday evening this week, with Santa Claus making an appearance and downtown music provided by the strolling Montana A Capella Society.
