Hamilton’s Daly Days Breaks a Few Records

The Running of the Dogs at Hamilton’s Daly Days July 27 (KLYQ Photo)
The wiener dog races provided thrills and disappointments (see photo) as some of the dogs were more interested in the crowds surrounding the race track than in running to the finish line.

The fundraising of Soroptimists International of the Bitterroot exceeded previous years with their Daly Days activities, including Kiss the Pig. The ’66 Mustang raffle was a sell-out, earning $25,000 for the GAN Warriors, the Friday night street dance with the band “Cold, Hard Cash” was well attended, and there were plenty of beautiful automobiles at the Bitterrodders Car Show.
