The Daly Days weekend provides a foundation for all sort of events. But the Hamilton Downtown Association has a schedule of the "core" events on Main Street Friday and Saturday.

Friday:

  • All Day - sidewalk sales and street activities on Main Street.
  • 8 p.m. - Free Street Dance with the band "Who Dat!"
  • Saturday:

  • 7 a.m. - Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Bell McCall canopy
  • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Sidewalk sales and vendors on Main Street
  • 9 a.m. - Daly Days Car Show, with award presentation at 3 p.m.
  • 12 p.m. - Wiener Dog Races at 4th and Main
  • Other Events

    Friday:

    Sapphire Lutheran Homes has a $5 barbeque at 6 p.m. and a free outdoor concert with the Big Sky Mudflaps at 7 p.m.

    Lots of local class reunions are planned, including the Victor Class of 1961 hosting a dance at the Golden Age Club 727 South 5th at 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
    Hamilton High classes 1958 to 1972 will gather at the Edge Restaurant and Sports Bar.

    The Hardtimes Bluegrass Festival is Friday evening, all day Saturday and Gospel Bluegrass at 10 a.m. Sunday, with more bluegrass at 12 noon. It's 10 miles south of Hamilton at 163 Forest Hill road.

    Saturday:

    Art in the Park will be at American Legion Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Hamilton Farmer's Market will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bedford and 3rd, followed by The Bitterroot Brewfest starting at 3 p.m. in the same location.

    The Daly Mansion will have re-enactors in the building, and on the grounds pony rides and a bake sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a concert featuring Dave Stamey at 6:30 p.m.

    The Lake Como Triathlon is Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 1500-yard swim, a 12.6 mile bike ride and a 7.7 mile run.
