About four times a year, Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital helps the American Red Cross collect blood.

Each year, it seems the need is greater and right now the Red Cross is attempting to collect over 700 pints of blood to meet the needs of patients in Western Montana alone.

Along comes Gary Schulz at the hospital. He is dedicated to every blood drive they mount and he's ready to schedule your donation during the drive which will be next Thursday, July 19th, from 11:30am to 5:30pm.

Those who've been to the hospital blood draws know that if you schedule the time, the process goes very quickly. It will be in Conference Rooms B and C, again.

Gary reminds you to drink plenty of water and eat complete meals before coming to the blood drive. You also need to bring a form of identification.

Somebody in Montana needs blood every 27 minutes!
