Getting the Word Out About Horse Disease

This weekend, I heard lots of concern about the recent outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus 1, which happened at a recent Cutting Horse competition in Utah.
It was even a question in the interview category of the Miss Ravalli County Rodeo competition. And it also caused a change of venue to the horsemanship division of the competition.
Jane Heath is the Executive Director of Montana Horse Sanctuary and a journalist (she was a reporter for Hamilton’s Ravalli Republic a bunch of years ago). Jane has found a good interview about the virus and has been distributing a link to get the word out about the dangers.
Here is the link…and the facts.
Thanks, Jane. And horse owners, get informed!
