Hospice Tree of Lights Will Glow Thursday Evening in Hamilton
The photo with this story is not the Tree of Lights at Marcus Daly Hospice, but i gets the idea across.
The Hospice Tree of lights is in front of the Marcus Daly Hospital in Hamilton. Each year, lights are sold on the tree to remember a friend or loved one and to also raise money for the Hospice program at the hospital.
Thursday at 4:30 p.m. the community remembrance will begin at First Presbyterian Church, 1220 West Main, about a block from the tree. The Hamilton High School choir and other local musicians will be part of the program. Then, the crowd will leave the church and walk to the tree for the annual lighting ceremony.
Following the lighting, a reception will be held at Conference rooms B and C in Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, with homemade goodies and refreshments.
