Join the Community Caroling in Hamilton Friday Evening
The Hamilton Community Christmas Tree is where a bit of Christmas Caroling will start Friday evening, December 16.
Those who would like to sing along are invited to meet at the tree at 7 p.m. and dress warmly.
If you'd like to bring along an instrument to play, do it! If you don't think you sing very well, come along anyway. Chances are that you'll do just fine with the whole group.
It's all part of the "Celebration of Lights" that the Hamilton Downtown Association has organized for late night Friday opening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. They will have "burning barrels" on the street corners, with free s'mores for the kids to toast. The s'mores go fast, so come early. Light candles or just enjoy the many lights of Hamilton - and sing a song or two.
It's also the night that winners in the "Follow the Sheep Trail" will be announced by a random drawing of the lucky kids who found all the toy sheep. A sheep will be given to each of the first 14 names drawn.
If you need more information, contact Chapter One Book Store in Hamilton, where they'll have storytime Friday night at 6 p.m. with "North Pole Ninjas."
