They defy description, playing over 1,000 concerts in North American and Europe. The group Le Vent du Nord (translation - Northwind) will be in Hamilton March 21.

The Canadian group has won Folk music awards and a Juno (Canada's version of a Grammy). Their music combines folk, world music, with a touch or three of Irish and Cajun thrown in, just for fun.

They will be on stage at Hamilton's Performing Arts Center at Hamilton High School on Fairgrounds Road Friday, with the concert starting at 8 p.m.

Their appearances include Butte, Montana, where they played in that community's newly organized summer music festival.

Some tickets are still available by calling the Bitterroot Performing Arts Council Box Office at 127 West Main in Hamilton at (406) 363-7946. Or check their website.
