Kids Can Eat at Hamilton’s Summer Lunch Program
The Kids "Summer Food Program" in Hamilton will be at the "Outpost" again this year on the east edge of Hamilton, a block from the Bitterroot Aquatic Center.
The lunches will be available through August 17th on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, according to the folks at Grace Lutheran Church, who operate the Outpost at the corner of Marcus Street and Kurtz Lane. Kids 18 and under are offered the meals FREE.
The Montana Office of Public Instruction reports that the meals are USDA Certified Nutritious Meals. In Hamilton, they will be served from 12 noon to 1 p.m., with an activity after lunch at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
