The intense Shakespearean drama "Macbeth" was well-received by about 600 Hamilton area playgoers Thursday, August 15.

The Shakespeare in the Parks troupe brought all the sorcery, tension, plotting and swordfights to the moveable stage at Sapphire Lutheran Homes "large lawn" on a summer evening.

Hamilton has become a regular stop for the unique series, based at Montana State University in Bozeman. The summer travels have been going on for 45 years and now is seen in five western states.

Sapphire Lutheran Homes thanks all the local sponsors who helped bring the play to the Bitterroot Valley again.

If you missed the Hamilton show, Macbeth will be in Missoula September 4th at the UM Oval at 6 p.m. If you need more information, check the Shakespeare in the Parks website.
