The Hamilton-based video training program MAPS (Media Arts in the Public Schools) received three Emmy Nominations for the Public Service Announcements the students produced for State Farm Insurance.

According to MAPS Founder and President Peter Rosten, the Emmy winners will be announced on June 15th at the NATAS Northwest Banquet. The nominated spots are "Graduation Matters," "Distracted Driving," and "Be Prepared."

In a news release, Rosten wrote that students also received a fourth nomination for the "Give Hope" video, produced for the Bitterroot Youth Homes. (Public Affairs/Community Service Category). This video is part of the program's "give back" program where community organizations receive MAPS services free-of-charge.
