Next spring, the Montana A Cappella Society will represent the Bitterroot Valley, Montana and the nation at the Cork International Choral Festival in Ireland.

They can't wait to get that Irish feeling, though, and will host their annual free Christmas concert at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center Saturday, December 22, at 7:30 p.m.

The venue this year is larger, but the admission is still free, as in past years. They've also added some features to the show - the Trillium Brass Trio, Tod McKay on the the bagpipes, and Highland Dancer Angie McKay.

The audience is asked to please bring a can of food to donate to the local food banks, and there will be a "free will" donation. They also are still accepting donations to help pay for their travel expenses to Ireland.

But, as director Don Matlock said, the main reason for the concert is a gift from the acappella singing group to the community for all their support through the years.

Sponsors for the show include US Bank, Cardinal Properties, Montana Arts Council, TransCanada and Professional Impressions Printing.
