Montana Fatality on Interstate 90

Senior Deputy Two and Acting County Coroner Jace Dicken with the Missoula County Sheriff’s department says the driver of the pickup was ejected from the vehicle onto the passing lane where he was struck by several vehicles, including a semi-truck.
Highway Patrol trooper Drew Novak was first on the scene and says there were containers of alcohol in the truck, and the driver may have been intoxicated. The driver of the Honda, a 37 year-man, was seriously injured and flown to Seattle for treatment, while a 29 year-old woman and her 5 year-old son were both transported to St. Patrick Hospital where Novak says there are in stable condition. The investigation into the two-fatality accident is ongoing by the Montana Highway Patrol and the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department.
