The next hunter safety classes in the Bitterroot Valley will be in Darby and Florence. Classes just got underway this week in Hamilton and Stevensville.

The initial Orientations for the Florence and Darby classes will be Monday at 6 p.m. In Darby, the class will be held at the Darby School cafeteria. In Florence, the orientation will be at the Florence High School on Old US Highway 93.

Each class schedule will run into March and those registering must be at least 11 years old. Montana law states that anyone born after January 1, 1985 must present a Hunter Education certificate in order to get a hunting license.
