Montana Politicians Ride in Inaugural Parade

Congressman Steve Daines, Senator Max Baucus and Montana Governor Steve Bullock rode their horses in the 2013 Inaugural Parade, which continued into the night in Washington, D.C.

Montana’s Congressmen riding horses in the parade to represent the state has become a tradition.

Also in the state’s delegation on Pennsylvania Avenue were Montana Secretary of State Linda McCullough and Montana Girls State governor Nolee Anderson.

Daines said, in a news release, “It was exciting to have so many Montana leaders and students join us in Washington, D.C. for today’s events.”
