Montana Primary Election is Tuesday
State officials are predicting a low voter turnout in Montana’s primary election Tuesday, June 3.
However, there seems to be a bit more interest in some Ravalli County races with a crowded Republican Party ballot. The winners will advance to the General election and face the Democratic opponents, who are mainly unopposed in the primary.
Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., according to Clerk and Recorder Regina Plettenberg.
KLYQ Radio will have election results as soon as they become available Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning, if necessary. The results will be here on the website and hourly on KLYQ 1240 AM. Check our Facebook and Twitter pages, too.
Also on the ballot will be whether county voters want to conduct a Local Government Study Commission. The last one increased the number of county commissioners from three to five. There has been talk of bringing that number back down to three.
