Montana’s Next Hunting Seasons – Opinions Requested
Some new rules are being proposed by the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission for this year's hunting seasons. The officials would like your opinion.
The commission approved tentative rules last month. The rules cover antelope, black bear, bighorn sheep, bison, deer, elk, moose, mountain goat, mountain lion and upland game birds.
Twelve meetings are planned for west-central Montana (including the Bitterroot Valley). The first meeting in the valley will be at the Bitterroot River Inn in Hamilton, Tuesday, January 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Another meeting will be January 12 at the Darby Elementary School.
Missoula’s meeting will be January 21 at the Double Tree Hotel, 100 Madison St.
Each meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
Other locations are Seeley Lake January 4, Lincoln January 6, Drummond January 7, Philipsburg January 11, Potomac January 13, Anaconda January 14, Helmville January 18, Deer Lodge January 19, and Superior January 20.
