The Montana Mule Days are June 14-16 at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds. The Big Sky Fiber Arts Festival is also on the fairgrounds those days.

The Montana Mule Days includes a whole menu of competition, starting Friday, June 14th. The action starts at 8 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Competition includes:

  • English Equitation and English Pleasure, Mule Unicorn Driving, Western Equitation and Western Pleasure, Ribbon Race, Keyhole, Single Pleasure Driving, Barrel Crawl Thru, 4-up and 8-up Competition Driving, Steer Daubing, 4 Abreast Pleasure Driving, Chariot Races - Barrels, Canadian Maze and Flat Track, Pole Bending, Obstacle Driving, Balloon Bust, Ride and Drive, and Sunday's Packer Scramble, including Old Clothes Race, Flapjack Race, Tandem Driving, and more.

    The Bitterroot Mulettes - a hilarious but precision mounted mule drill team - will perform early Saturday afternoon.

    In another part of the Ravalli County Fairgrounds, during the same weekend, the Big Sky Fiber Arts Festival with judged fleece show and sale, and the judged sheep and goat sale, along with fiber vendors and workshops.

    Tickets include both events and are available at the gate for $5 per day or $10 for the whole weekend.
