Museum Gets Into Geocaching
There is treasure somewhere on the Ravalli County Museum grounds.
The crew has hidden a geocache and has listed the coordinates at www.geocaching.com.
Most geocaches include paper and pencil, so you can record when you found it and who you are. There have been dozens of geocaches in the Bitterroot Valley over the years. Some have been “active” for years. Caches often include objects that are related to their location.
If you’re not sure how to find the location, which uses GPS coordinates, check the geocache website guide and get the family together to figure it out.
Geocachers have a pretty good worldwide network, with blogs and reviews and information about new caches.
